BASELESS: Ukraine’s Armed Forces use UN vehicles to transport weapons

According to the information spread on the Internet the Ukrainian military allegedly uses UN vehicles to transport weapons. As an alleged proof they provide the information from the so-called “headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR.”

However, it has no grounds.

There are currently no reliable data to confirm the fact that the UN has provided its vehicles for the use of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. There are also no verified data that would indicate that the Armed Forces uses this transport de facto – without the UN’s consent.

It is significant that this news is spread by Russian propaganda channels. At the same time, the UN did not make any statements about the use of its transport by the Ukrainian army.

The UN is currently monitoring the humanitarian situation in Ukraine in connection with the Russian aggression. Also on March 16, the UN International Court of Justice ordered Russia to immediately cease military aggression against Ukraine and withdraw its troops from its territory. Russia has officially ignored this decision.
