Peter Wostner was directly involved in EU cohesion policy formulation, implementation and evaluation for more than 15 years. As a deputy director of the managing authority in Slovenia he gained direct knowledge and experience on cohesion policy implementation systems as well as development policy coordination. Since 2019 he was focused on research and policy advice, especially as regards productivity and digital transformation at the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development. Peter Wostner is chairman of OECD’s Working Party on Rural Policy since 2016 and served as Vice-Chairman of the OECD’s Regional Development Policy Committee between 2012-2021.
