Verification within Meta’s Third-Party Fact-Checking Program
The network is distributing photos with Ukrainian paskas, which allegedly bear the symbols of the Azov Regiment and the Ukrainian flag.

In fact, this photo was edited, the original image does not have the symbols of the Azov Regiment and the Ukrainian flag.
By reversing images on Google, you can find this photo in the material of independent foreign fact checkers from Corre ctiv .

Fact-checkers found out that the original image was published in 2019 on the website of the Ukrainian media “Fakty”. However, in the real photo there are no symbols of “Azov” or the Ukrainian flag. The fact that these photos are almost identical is evidenced by the same location of confectionery in the frame, and the same inscription near the strips “Selfmade”.
