Information is being spread online about an alleged investigation by the publication London Telegraph into an illegal real estate purchase scheme involving Zelenskyi. Among the so-called evidence are the “testimony” of a supposed former NABU employee named Olena and photos of leaked documents. According to Olena, Zelenskyi allegedly purchased more than one hundred pieces of luxury real estate in Europe and the UAE, worth over $1.2 billion, through intermediaries.

This is fake. The original source is a website impersonating The Telegraph, and the “testimony” of the ex-employee is also fabricated.

We found the corresponding article on the London Telegraph website, which is now inactive. Its design and style resemble those of the well-known British outlet The Telegraph, but the latter does not have a separate London branch. According to WHOIS data, the domain londontelegraph.uk was registered only on August 14, 2025. It is most likely a fake website imitating The Telegraph.

The author of the fake article is listed as Charlotte Davies. We found several people with that name, but they all look different and do not work for London Telegraph. Using a reverse image search on Google, we discovered that the photo actually belongs to another journalist, Helen Brown, who works for The Daily Telegraph.

The material indeed cites statements from an alleged former NABU employee named Olena K. In the recording, she makes numerous mistakes uncharacteristic of a native Ukrainian speaker. The “former employee” of NABU misplaces stresses, confuses the Ukrainian “і” with the Russian “и,” and speaks with a foreign accent.

Verification via Hive Moderation indicates that with a 99% probability, AI was used to create the audio track of the supposed ex-NABU employee’s voice.

At the beginning of the video, documents are shown that supposedly contain information about Zelenskyi’s foreign property. In fact, the photo was originally published on July 22, 2025, by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office. It pertains to investigative actions in the case of Fedor Khrystenko, a representative of the Opposition Party — For Life. Currently, there is no information or documentation from reliable sources confirming that Zelenskyi owns real estate abroad worth $1.2 billion.
