Oleksandr Slobozhan Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities

Oleksandr is the Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities. He has experience working in local government (serving as a legal advisor and acting head of the legal department of the executive committee secretariat of the Izmail City Council). Since 2010, he has held various roles within the Association of Ukrainian Cities, including consultant at the Legal Assistance Center, budget policy expert, Director of the Center for Legislative Analysis and Development, and First Deputy Executive Director.

He is a recipient of the Izmail City Council Award for significant achievements by youth in various areas of public life, has been awarded an Honorary Certificate from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For Special Services to the Ukrainian People,” and was honored with the Order of Merit, 3rd degree.

He holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
