Social networks spread misleading information, saying that russia successfully destroyed the S-300 air defense system, provided to Ukraine recently by Slovakia. Russian propaganda outlets argue they destroyed S-300s in the Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
However, that is not true.
Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger denied any information about the destruction of the S-300 air defense system. He wrote that Ukraine had officially confirmed the S-300 system provided by Slovakia had not been destroyed.
#Slovakia categorically denies #Russian propaganda, that S-300 defence system in #Ukraine was destroyed. It’s a #hoax. Officially confirmed by ??.

The Pentagon also did not confirm that russia destroyed the S-300 system. They had no evidence to conclude that Russia destroyed any air defense system in Dnipro, not only the one provided by Slovakia. The Pentagon spoke only about the destruction of some Dnieper airfield infrastructure.
The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security also denied any information about the destruction of the S-300 system.
