According to the information spread on the Internet, Ukrainian saboteurs allegedly tried to blow up the oil depot in Olenivka on the night of Feb. 18. The publications refer to the statements of the “people’s militia of the DPR.”

Olenivka is a village in the Donetsk region, currently occupied by the DPR and Russia.

Ukraine follows the Minsk agreements and norms of international humanitarian law. Ukraine’s Armed Forces do not fire on settlements in the temporarily occupied territories, and all statements about shelling are lies and provocations.

On the same day, the militants accused Ukraine of attempting sabotage at the “Styrol” (“Styrene”) chemical plant. We wrote about this fake here.

Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba emphasizes that Ukraine did not plan offensive operations or sabotage on the chemical production.
