The network is spreading information that on March 14 the Ukrainian military allegedly hit Donetsk with the Tochka-U missile with a cluster munition unit.

However, this is not true.

Leonid Matyukhin, an officer of the Center for Operational Information of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said at the briefing: “It is definitely a Russian missile or some other ammunition. Each of you can simply see that Russian propaganda has been saying for 8 years that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are shelling Donetsk and other cities. You can simply look at what Donetsk looks like today in 8 years and you can look at Kharkiv and Mariupol, which the Russian occupation forces have been shelling for almost 2 weeks. ”

Ruslan Leviev, the founder of the group of investigators – the Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT), also claims that the missile was launched from Russian-controlled territory in order to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The CIT notes that the missile part in the photo of the wreckage is aimed at the northwest, and the rear – at the southeast. The missile part can change direction, but not more than 45 degrees, i. e. it arrived from the southeast. The missile unit could not change direction by 180 degrees.

Investigators from InfromNapalm also note that the missile was launched by the Russian military .
