More than a year has passed since a ten-year ban on the exports of unprocessed timber was imposed in November 2015. The sides of the public discussion about the practicality of this decision continue to support their points of view. Supporters claim this decision stimulated the economy, while opponents argue that nothing has changed. So, who’s right? Have the moratorium really saved the industry and Ukrainian forests?
