Christoph Trebesch University of Kiel, Kiel Institute for the World Economy and CEPR

Christoph Trebesch is a Professor of Economics at the University of Kiel and at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, where he heads the Research Area “International Finance and Global Governance”. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Munich (until 2017) and completed his PhD at Free University of Berlin (in 2011), with research stays at Yale and at the IMF. He is also a Research Affiliate of CEPR and CESifo. His research focuses on international finance and international macroeconomics, economic history, and political economy.
