VoxCheck and the CHESNO initiative have made a joint analysis of the press conference of Andriy Parubiy, one of the most influential politicians in Ukraine. He talked about “knopkodavstvo” (voting for absent MPs by their present colleagues), the quality of the parliament, his achievements during the last session and the fines he imposed on those MPs who skipped parliamentary meetings. For the most part, he spoke honestly; however, he did embellish the truth significantly when it came to “knopkodavstvo” and fines.
