In the previous article, VoxUkraine counted how many times MPs attended certain talk shows, and analyzed how objectively the top-rated political talk shows presented People’s Deputies from different factions in live studios. There are questions to be asked of nearly all of the TV channels. However, a mere quantitative analysis of appearances at talk shows is not deep enough for unambiguous verdicts. We went further than that and counted the amount of air time granted by the talk shows to each politician. This is the first time ever that such analysis has been conducted in Ukraine and it can reveal a lot about manipulation methods on TV.
