According to the information spread on the Internet, Ukrainian saboteurs allegedly planned to blow up the chemical plant “Styrol” (“Styrene”) in Horlivka. The posts refer to the statements of the “DPR”.
However, this is a fake. Ukraine did not plan to blow up the chemical plant in Horlivka.
Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba emphasizes that Ukraine did not plan offensive operations or sabotage in chemical production.

Ukrainian military intelligence warned back in January that militants had lost control of chemicals imported into Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories and hence, could use a man-made disaster as a reason to accuse Ukraine of using toxic chemicals.
There is no evidence that Ukraine planned to blow up the plant in Horlivka.
Ukraine follows the Minsk agreements and norms of international humanitarian law. Ukraine’s Armed Forces do not fire on settlements in the temporarily occupied territories, and all statements about shelling are provocations.
