Olena Bilan Director of the Research Department, Chief Economist, Dragon Capital

Olena Bilan has over 20 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. She joined Dragon Capital in 2006 as an economist and bond market analyst, becoming Chief Economist in 2009, responsible for macroeconomic forecasting and assessing conditions in debt and currency markets. Since 2022, she has led Dragon Capital’s research department, overseeing sectoral, corporate, and macroeconomic research.

Before joining Dragon Capital, Olena worked at the IERPC research center and the SigmaBleyzer investment fund.

Olena was also elected Co-Chair of the Board of Directors at KSE and became a member of the Supervisory Board of the Centre for Economic Strategy.

She is a graduate of the Economic Education and Research Consortium (EERC) master’s program at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (now the Kyiv School of Economics) and holds a specialist degree in Computer Science from NTUU “KPI.”
