A screenshot of the news, which was allegedly published on the Dialog.ua website, is being spread online. It says that Valerii Zaluzhnyi allegedly reported that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to create same-sex unions more often.
However, this is a fake. Zaluzhnyi did not make such statements, and there is no such publication on the Dialog.ua website.

Same-sex marriages and unions are officially prohibited in Ukraine. In July 2022, a petition to legalize same-sex marriage received the necessary number of votes to be considered by the president. In his answer, Volodymyr Zelenskyi explained that according to the Constitution of Ukraine, marriage is based on the free consent of a woman and a man (Article 51). The Constitution of Ukraine cannot be changed during a state of war or emergency (Article 157). The issue of civil partnerships was previously considered but stopped at the level of drafting the law. According to the president, the government has returned to consideration of this issue.
