However, this is a fake. The photo is not related to the events near Kharkov on May 13, 2022, it illustrates the accident of the Ka-52 helicopter in the Vykhino-Zhulebino district of moscow in 2013.

Using a reverse image search on Google, we were able to determine the origin of this photo. It was published by the russian news agency “Interfax” to illustrate the accident of the Ka-52 helicopter in the Vykhino-Zhulebino district of moscow, which occurred on October 19, 2013. The agency notes that these photos belong to RIA Novosti.

Later, the russian mass media reported that the accident occurred due to a defect in a part in the control system of the upper main propeller. It is also noted that both pilots who were in the helicopter survived.

It should be noted that in the morning report of the General Staff of Ukraine dated May 13, it is indeed stated that the Armed Forces shot down a russian Ka-52 helicopter. However, the place where it happened was not reported. The downing of the Ka-52 helicopter near Izyum of the Kharkiv region was reported earlier, on May 11, 2022.
