Russian Telegram channels are spreading a recording allegedly from American media claiming that Volodymyr Zelenskyi supposedly purchased a ranch (a cattle-breeding farm) for $80 million in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The deal allegedly took place on October 24, 2025, and was concluded through the company Davegra Ltd, which allegedly belongs to Zelenskyi.

This is not true. The company mentioned in the video denied the information and stated that the estate is being sold to an American company.

In the English-language segment of social media, we indeed found a video being spread by Russian Telegram channels. However, we were unable to establish its original source. At the same time, it is being published by social media users, whereas reputable American media outlets have not reported on any such purchase by Zelenskyi.

The company Davegra LTD, mentioned in the video, is indeed associated with Volodymyr Zelenskyi. According to investigations by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, as of 2020, the company was owned by Andrii Yakovliev. He is an author at Studio Kvartal-95, where Zelenskyi worked before becoming president. At the same time, it is currently unknown whether Zelenskyi owns a stake in Davegra LTD, as it is not listed in his 2024 annual declaration.

In the recording and in users’ posts, it is also claimed that the seller of the ranch on the American side was the company Swan Land Co. As “proof,” they add a link to the company’s website. However, the company itself denied this information in response to an inquiry from journalists of one of Wyoming’s largest outlets, Cowboy State Daily. Swan Land Co. stated that they are preparing to sell the ranch to Americans: “The sale of the ranch is currently being arranged for a family-owned American company that plans to continue the livestock tradition of this operation.”

Moreover, the Swan Land Co. website shown in the video was fabricated. Although it has now been removed, we found its archived version in a web archive and discovered that the domains of the original and the fake websites are different.

Thus, the domain of the genuine website ends with “.com” — https://www.swanlandco.com. Whereas on the fake website it was replaced with “.us” — https://swanlandco.us. In addition, the two websites differ in design details. For example, the original does not contain the inscription “state resources” above the company name.

Users are not spreading such videos about the alleged purchase of estates by Volodymyr Zelenskyi for the first time. Previously, we have already debunked fakes claiming that the President of Ukraine purchased an estate near London, as well as in Germany.
