Ukraine signed the Association Agreement with the European Union in March 2014. 17 provisions concern the health care. EU has much to offer in this sphere as the EU countries has managed to decrease the mortality rate by 6.7% in the last 10 years. Unfortunately, in our country, the rate has increased by 12.7% in the last 20 years and now equals 15.72 deaths per 1000 people (9.7 in the EU).
