Oleksandr Talavera Professor at the University of Birmingham

Oleksandr is a Professor at the University of Birmingham, specializing in capital structure, financial constraints, and econometrics.

He has previously served as a Professor of Finance at Swansea University, taught at the University of Sheffield Management School, Durham University Business School, lectured in economics at the University of East Anglia, and in finance at Robert Gordon University.

He graduated from the National University “Ostroh Academy,” the Kyiv School of Economics, and Boston College. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Viadrina University.
