On the internet, claims are being spread that books containing Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s quotes on patriotism, titled “Top 100 Great Quotes on Patriotism,” have appeared on the shelves of bookstores in Ukraine. Allegedly, one of the quotes was authored by Adolf Hitler.
However, this is fake. Zelenskyi did not release such a book, and it is not available in the assortments of online stores.

Books with a similar title are not available online. Additionally, we checked the online stores of popular Ukrainian bookstores and publishers, including Knyharnia “Ye”, Yakaboo, “KSD”, Vivat, and “Stary Lev Publishing House”. None of these stores have a book with a similar title or author for sale. Such a book is also not listed among Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s publications. Currently, only one Ukrainian-language book by the President of Ukraine is available in bookstores: “A Message from Ukraine. Speeches, 2019–2022.” Additionally, a collection of the President’s speeches during the full-scale invasion is being sold in Ukraine as part of the series “Chronicle of Events: Speeches and Addresses of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi,” compiled by Oleksandr Krasovytskyi.
Certain elements of the text indicate that the book is fake. For example, the author of the book is not specified. Additionally, the wording on the cover, “in the war of 2022,” is atypical. The new phase of the war since 2022 is more commonly referred to as the “full-scale invasion,” “large-scale war,” or “great war.”
Also, the text with Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s name appears uneven; some letters are positioned higher than others. This element was likely added using a photo editor.

We could not find the original source of the quote presented in the book. A similar quote was mentioned in Robert McGee’s book “Justifiable Homicide: A Political Thriller.” However, in the English article Hitler, Bush and Historical Accuracy, referencing Robert Gellately’s book “The Gestapo and German Society,” the attribution of the quote to Adolf Hitler is questioned. Specifically, the article’s author argues that the quote resembles the text of the law establishing the secret state police (Gestapo) on April 26, 1933, which referred to the need for such a police force “to ensure effective combat against all efforts aimed against the existence and security of the state.” While the author does not rule out the possibility that the quote may have belonged to Adolf Hitler, there are no original sources to confirm this.
The phrase “There is no nation that cannot be reborn” is mentioned only in Russian-language sources. However, no evidence is provided to confirm that Adolf Hitler said it.
Previously, we debunked a fake claim that a book of Zelenskyi’s speeches was being sold in the same section as books about Nazis, as well as a claim that Volodymyr Zelenskyi published an autobiographical book titled “My Struggle.”
