It is often said that there are no problems with the equality of men and women in Ukraine. For instance, some claim that matriarchate belongs to the national tradition in Ukraine, so no one can limit anyone, and the word “gender” has emerged due to European liberal tendencies. Unfortunately, both the general public and the representatives of the scientific and political elites think so. What is the real situation with the “gender issue”, and what can be done to improve it?
