The referendum in Great Britain, President Trump’s coming to power in America, the migrant crisis and the increasing popularity of ultra-rightwing politicians in the EU. All of these factors have “motivated” EU leaders to look for ways to overcome the rising global challenges. Moreover, Russia’s aggression near the EU’s eastern border exposed the security issue. These problems have long been discussed in the European Union. How can they be resolved, and how should Ukraine address them?
