russian media outlets spread the news of the Ukrainian military allegedly re-selling Western weapons to russia through intermediaries, namely two French CAESAR howitzers. The source of the information is Bulgarian Military, citing French and Ukrainian anonymous sources.

However, there is no evidence of this.

Bulgarian Military cites an article in the pro-russian media Donbass Insider writing about the weapons systems being re-sold, not captured. The outlet quotes anonymous French sources and the pro-russian Telegram channel Rybar. According to Rybar, two CAESAR howitzers were re-sold to russia for USD 120,000 each, although the market price is reportedly EUR 7 million.

Earlier, propaganda outlets claimed the seizure of two French CAESAR howitzers. We wrote more about it here.

Neither Rybar nor Bulgarian Military offer evidence of re-selling the French self-propelled artillery. A screenshot of Ukrainians selling Javelin anti-tank missile systems on the Darknet was used as proof. We debunked this fake story earlier.
