Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, our country faced many daunting challenges. During 2022, Ukraine had to demonstrate its resilience both on the battlefield and in supporting its citizens who lost their homes or jobs, as well as in implementing reforms to push the country forward. At the “Onwards and Upwards: Reforming Ukraine During the War” conference organized by analytical platform VoxUkraine with support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), we will explore how we managed to cope with these tasks, look at success stories that need scaling up, and draw valuable lessons from our experiences.

The event scheduled on May 19th, 2023 will bring together Ukrainian and foreign government officials, civil servants, business leaders, experts, and representatives of civil society to foster a productive discussion and exchange of insights and experiences.

Among the speakers are Roman Kachur, Ukraine’s representative at the World Bank; Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, former president of Croatia; Mustafa Nayyem, Head of the Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development; Ivan Miklos, former Finance Minister of Slovakia and adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and other well-known professionals.

To participate in the event, please register at forms.gle and receive confirmation of participation from the organizers.

During the event simultaneous translation in Ukrainian and English will be available.
